Great Value Holiday Deals

The middle of the year is a great time to stay with us if you love a good deal.

It tends to be the time of the year where we are a little quieter, so we’re more than happy to offer you a nice discount to encourage you to stay just that little bit longer.

We also offer a 20% discount on our powered sites during off peak periods for guests with a valid Seniors Card which must be presented upon arrival.

To take advantage of this offer simply give us a call in the office on (02) 6646 0255 and let us know you’d like to make a booking using your senior’s discount.

The Top Rated Caravan Park In The Area

If you’re comparing accommodation options and you’re looking for unbiased reviews then there is generally one place that you go – TripAdvisor.

And as you’ll see if you do head to TripAdvisor, we’re consistently ranked as the top caravan park in the region.

Our average rating is just over 4.5/5 from over 270 independent reviews. Based on that positive rating you can be confident that we consistently deliver amazing holiday experiences for the guests who stay with us.

Free Weekly Morning Tea's

Every Wednesday between May & September we run a free morning tea for any guests who happen to be in the park at the time.

These morning tea’s are a great chance for you to meet other guests staying in the park and share stories about experiences had while travelling this great country.

Many grey nomads return year after year for the community feel of the park which is on full display at our weekly morning tea.

The Weather Is Generally Great

If you’re heading north for the winter there’s a good chance you’re escaping the cooler weather down south.

While it’s obviously not quite as warm here during the winter months as it is in coastal Queensland destinations, compared to where you’re from it can feel downright tropical.

During the very coldest time of year, average daytime temperatures are generally 20 degrees or higher, and the nights rarely dip down into single figures.

Combine that with low rain falls and you have the makings of a very pleasant stay.

Personal Campfires Are Allowed

We’re one of the very few parks in the area that allow personal camp fires on your site or close to your cabin and it’s without a doubt one of the most popular features of the park.

We have fire drums available which are free to use and you can keep the drum on your site for as long as you’re here.

We have wood available for sale or you’re welcome to source your own.

Either way you’re going to love being able to end your day around the warmth of a camp fire on those chilly winter nights.

Fantastic Fishing & Boating

If you’re looking for a place to base yourself to do some fishing then you could do far worse than BIG4 Saltwater.

We have direct access to the river via a small, tidal boat ramp that is suitable for small boats. For larger boats there are a number of ramps available towards both Yamba & Maclean.

The winter months are great for fishing on the Clarence with plenty of bream, flathead, tailor, jewfish & blackfish just waiting to be caught.

One of the great advantages of holidaying in winter is that the river is less crowded at that time of year giving you more opportunities to explore fishing spots in peace.

And if you happen to be here in August you can check out the ‘Tim the Bream’ fishing competition, one of the more unique you’ll find anywhere in Australia.

Conveniently Close To Yamba & Maclean

Our park is in a great position where we are pretty much halfway between the two main towns in the area – Yamba & Maclean.

Yamba is the more ‘beachy’ of the towns while Maclean has more of a river spirit.

Both towns offer great golf, bowling clubs, pubs, cafes & restaurants so staying with us gives you the best of both worlds.

Dog Friendly Options

If you’re travelling the country with your furry friend then we are definitely your best option in the Clarence. We love the fact that we have the space here in the park to offer dog friendly sites to guests with pets. And we’ve recently added dog friendly cabins as an option as well.

Our park is set on 130 acres which means there is plenty of space for walking your dog and we also have an off-leash area where the more energetic dogs can burn off some of that energy.

If you are keen to bring your dog with you make sure you talk to us on the phone first so we can make sure to place you on the most suitable site.

Massive Powered Slab & Grass Sites

If you’re travelling with a big rig then we are definitely the park for you!

We have the biggest sites of any park in the region. There are both slab and grass sites available along with drive-thru sites if you’re just passing through and want to stay hooked up.

If you’re a novice just getting started with your van, motor-home or 5th-wheeler then there is no better park to stay than here.

Our large sites mean you can easily manoeuvre your van onto site without any of the nervousness you’re likely to feel at parks where things are much tighter.
