If you’re going to come and stay with us in Yamba, you might as well get out on the river and see Yamba and Iluka from the water.
Clarence River Ferries run multiple trips per day that take you back and forth between Yamba & Iluka. The trip takes roughly half an hour and gives you a good perspective on just how big the Clarence River is.
And if you take the 11am ferry from Yamba to Iluka, the local pub (Sedgers Reef Hotel) has a courtesy bus that will pick you up at the terminal, and drop you back again after you’ve filled up on something from their delicious lunch menu.
On Wednesdays and Fridays you can board the Harwood Island Cruise which takes around 4 hours and gives you a great insight into the history of the area.
Then on Sundays there’s a fairly relaxed music cruise.
The ferry is fully licensed and depending on which cruise you take they’ll have snacks or hot & cold food available.
