1 - Your Kids Will Have A Ball!

Yamba Caravan Park

If you’re looking for a place where your kids can have some fun, then this is the holiday park for you. Year after year families keep coming back because their kids have an absolute blast.

Our waterpark is the main attraction here at the park and during the warmer months of the year kids will happily spend much of their day splashing around.

We have one of the biggest jumping pillows you’ll find anywhere, as well as an ever expanding playground area with a variety of slides, swings and more.

Your kids can hire pedal karts to cruise around the park and you can bring the push bikes for the kids so they can use our pump track. We also have kayaks & paddleboards available for hire here in the park.

There’s plenty of space for sport, so if your kids love footy or cricket you’ll definitely want to pack some equipment.

We have outdoor movies under the stars every Saturday night (weather permitting) and we expand this to 3 nights per week as part of our kids club program during school holiday periods.

And your kids will meet other kids here – new ‘BFF’s’ are made here every single week.

2 - YOU Get A Holiday As Well

One of the most common things we hear parents say is…

“I just feel so comfortable letting the kids go and play without worrying about where they are. I actually get the chance to relax myself and enjoy my holiday rather than constantly chasing kids around.”

After a holiday here you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed – not stressed and in need of another holiday to unwind from the ‘holiday’ you just had.

3 - Top Rated Holiday Park In Yamba

When it comes to unbiased travel reviews. TripAdvisor is definitely the king.

And we are consistently rated as the number #1 holiday park in the region, with an average rating of just over 4.5/5 from more than 240 individual reviews.

You don’t have to believe us when we tell you we’re the best in the area, but you should definitely pay attention to what people say on TripAdvisor.

4 - Campfires Are Allowed...And Encouraged

This is one of the real attractions of staying here at BIG4 Saltwater.

You’re welcome to have your own personal campfire on your site or close to your cabin. There aren’t many holiday parks that allow this, but because of the massive amounts of space we have here it’s something we’re happily able to allow in our park.

There’s nothing better when you’re camping then ending the day as a family around your own camp fire, listening to your kids tell you (slightly exaggerated) stories about their adventures that day.

We have fire drums which are free to use for your entire stay. They get delivered straight to your site or cabin by one of our friendly grounds staff. We also have wood available for purchase which again will be dropped at your doorstep.

You’re also welcome to bring your own campfire setup as long as it has legs or some sort of stand that will keep it up off the ground so we’re not left with burned out grass patches across the park.

5 - The Biggest Camp Sites Around

One of the great things about having so much space is that we can afford to be generous when it comes to the sizes of our camp sites.

You won’t be forced to camp on top of your neighbour here! All of our camp sites are bigger than average, with some being almost over the top huge.

This generally means you can go big on your camp setup, with plenty of space for annexes, awnings, extra tents or gazebos.

The large camp sites are one of the key reasons so many of our holiday guests come back year after year. They learn how to make best use of the massive amount of space allocated to their site.

6 - Luxurious Family Cabins

If you’re not a camper that’s OK, we’ve got some great family cabins available which you’ll absolutely love.

Our Figtree cabins are not your typical family cabin – it feels more like you’re staying at a luxury resort.

The cabins are completely self contained and we’ve even had people ask about the designer with the idea of putting one on their farm as a guest house.

One of the most popular features is your own private BBQ, so you can cook and eat as a family out on the large front deck of your cabin.

7 - Fantastic Boating, Fishing & Kayaking

Our park is lucky enough to have direct access to the Clarence River. Fishing, kayaking and boating are good year round on the Clarence.

We have kayaks & paddleboards available for hire here in the park which you can launch from our own private boat ramp.

Because we’re away from the mouth of the river, the traffic tends to be less hectic on our stretch which is perfect for our guests.

NB – our boat ramp is quite tidal which makes it unsuitable for larger boats, but there are plenty of other ramps in the area.
